We have the class for you.
We will teach you the basics with learning how to use a sewing machine, choosing fabrics, using a pattern and going home with a cool project!
You won’t believe how easy and fun it can be!
Come and meet some new friends and sew the night away!

• Level: beginner/intermediate (you’ve really never touched a sewing machine or have fond memories of your home-ec class in Jr High)
• Come empty handed: We’ve got you covered – fabric, machine, tools and patterns!

Get To Know Your Sewing Machine! TBD(let us know if you have an interest)
Is your sewing machine sitting in the back of a closet gathering dust? Do you wish you remembered how to thread it? We can teach you how! Bring your sewing machine to this two and a half hour workshop. We will show you how to wind the bobbin and thread the machine and familiarize you with the most useful stitches. We will also go over the fundamentals of how to select and cut fabric. Once your machine is up and running, we will sew a quick project together to get your started!

Fashion your own clothing creations from our pile of used garments. Turn a men’s button down shirt into a hip peasant shirt. Cut the cuffs off of one shirt and sew them on a denim jacket! Let your imagination run crazy in our classes!

Bring some old jeans or use some of ours. Cut and sew bags, Ipad holders, skirts, pin cushions, aprons, dog leashes, pillows….The ideas are endless!
